Golden Advisors provides residency advisory and process management services in connection with the Portuguese Golden Visa (Autorização de Residência para Investimento) programme. This includes: providing general, publicly available information about qualifying fund categories and the application process; facilitating introductions between prospective applicants and CMVM-regulated fund managers, licensed banks, and authorised immigration lawyers; and managing the administrative process associated with AIMA (Agência para a Integração, Migrações e Asilo) applications.
The selection and subscription of any specific investment fund is always the investor’s own decision, made in conjunction with their own legal, tax, and financial advisors. Golden Advisors does not execute fund subscriptions or hold client assets at any stage of the investment process.
Commercial disclosure: Where Golden Advisors introduces an investor to a CMVM-regulated fund manager and that investor proceeds to subscribe to a qualifying fund, Golden Advisors may receive an introducer fee from the fund manager. This arrangement is governed by a written introducer agreement concluded directly with the relevant fund manager and is subject to registration with and oversight by the CMVM. The existence of such a fee arrangement does not affect the investor’s subscription price, the terms of the fund, or any advice provided. Introducer fees are disclosed to investors individually, in writing, prior to any introduction being made.
Past performance of any investment fund is not indicative of future results. The value of investments can fall as well as rise. The Golden Visa programme is subject to Portuguese legislation and government policy, which may change. Approval of a Golden Visa application is at the discretion of AIMA and is not guaranteed. Accordingly, Golden Advisors is not itself subject to the customer due diligence (CDD) and source-of-funds obligations imposed by Lei n.º 83/2017, de 18 de agosto (transposing Directives (EU) 2015/849 and 2018/843) — those obligations fall on the fund manager and the receiving bank as regulated obliged entities. Investors should expect to provide identity documentation, proof of address, and source-of-funds evidence directly to those entities as part of the standard onboarding process.
